Charbonneau-Dufresne
Physiotherapist
“Nobody who ever gave his best regretted it.” – Georges Halas
Her superpowers
Our physiotherapist Florence Charbonneau-Dufresne will always greet you with the biggest smile. If dynamism had a face, it would be hers!
Her passions
She’s a track-and-field athlete in the 800m-1500m division. If she’s not running on the track, you’ll find her road-biking, skiing, cooking or spending time with her family. She’s definitely an outdoorsy girl. As often as possible, she heads to the mountain to her cottage or to go hiking.
Her approach
Her approach consists of two elements: manual therapy and therapeutic exercises in movement rehabilitation. She encourages her clients to live an active lifestyle to ameliorate their recovery and healing processes. Creative and attentive, Florence will adapt your treatment to your lifestyle and habits. She can also work wonders with dry needling, treating the deep tissues of your muscles.
Background
Florence graduated from the University of Montreal with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physiotherapy in 2014. She worked in her field for 6 years, with a diversified clientele in Montreal and Vancouver. In 2019, she obtained a post-graduate diploma in advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of British-Colombia, earning the title of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). She was the physio for the Carabins track-and-field varsity team of the University of Montreal, for a few years also. She also recently earned her certificate in dry needling puncture physiotherapy (PPAS).
