Acupuncture clinic in Montreal (Saint-Henri)

Nxt Generation has an acupuncture clinic in Montreal, Saint-Henri (South-West of Montreal) with an acupuncturist holding over 20 years of experience in her field.

What is acupuncture?

The needle manipulation in acupuncture is truly a work of art. Acupuncture is an alternative medicine based on Traditional Chinese medicine, practised for over 2 500 years. This therapeutic approach is actually recognized by the scientific community for relieving pain and inflammation.

During treatment, extremely fine needles are inserted into the trigger points of the body at different depths. They’re placed on the surface of the skin holding the most amount of nerves to impact the function of organs, glands, muscles, etc.

Our approach with acupuncture

It’s important to know that they are many approaches to acupuncture. Our certified specialist Marianne Boutin, who works in our acupuncture clinic in Montreal, is a member of the Ordre des acupuncteurs du Québec since 1998. She’s very passionate about her work. She manipulates the needles with steadiness and precision, while continuously expanding her knowledge for over 20 years.

Marianne has built great expertise in the treatment of myofascial pain (trigger points). The clinical efficiency of this treatment, for this kind of pain, is gaining more and more recognition from the medical community across the world. Competency and rigour are two qualities that define our acupuncturist. She likes to mix the different technics that she learned over the years.

Marianne’s specialization : sport medicine, fertility treatments and anxiety issues.

Cupping therapy

What’s a trigger point?

Trigger points are what we call knots in the musculature. They’re small areas of tightness that can cause pain while moving or even resting. The pain is usually felt in the near area of the trigger points. However, when we press directly on the points, we can provoke irradiation or the same feeling of pain. During a session of acupuncture, our goal is to loosen the affected muscles and to eradicate the trigger points by massaging them or by using a dry needle.

Aculift is also a specialty of Marianne!

We use our face 24/7 throughout our lives. Our face represents our life, our strengths, and our weaknesses.

Doesn’t this face have the right to be tired?
Is it normal for each person to have a different experience of life events and for facial marks to differ?

Facial acupuncture is a solution: an extraordinary treatment to tone and revitalize the very structure of the meridians and all the layers that compose them at the molecular/cellular level. From the skin, to the muscles, to the joints and the fascias that support them. Aculift isn’t just a cosmetic treatment but a truly organic one. Facial acupuncture is a new approach to ancient acupuncture combined with modern acupuncture. By seeking the Qi* from the points that Marianne will select based on the strengths, weaknesses, and asymmetries of your face, she will stimulate and direct them according to her diagnosis based on an observation of the face and tongue. This treatment is performed using fine gold-plated needles inserted once a month for each client, male or female, for collagen regeneration, elastin relaxation of facial muscles, and most importantly, cellular regeneration.

Of course, the aging phenomenon is inevitable.
But with this treatment, it’s possible to illuminate a face even with a few wrinkles that mark our journey. THE PROTOCOL

A session every 28 days +/- (corresponding to the skin regeneration cycle).
That is, 11 treatments/year.

For the Aculift treatment, your face should be clean, no creams, serums, or makeup to maximally prevent infections. Deep cleaning is completed at the beginning of the treatment. No showers, saunas, pools, or sports until the next morning.
