Daphné
Bilodeau
Physiotherapist
“I paint my life, and I love the portrait.”- Daphné Bilodeau
Her superpowers
Our physiotherapist Daphné Bilodeau has magical fingers. Her delicate and soft, yet precise and efficient, manoeuvres are what build her reputation. We call her the Organization Queen because she just loves to plan things and to be implicated in all of them. She’s a born-artist with a little gypsy vibe.
Her passions
Daphné is a globe-trotter, having crossed many countries off her bucket list already. Consumed by road-biking, she got certified BikePT for wanting to help a larger clientele. If she’s not cycling in the city, she’s probably running, doing yoga or CrossFit training.
Her approach
As a physiotherapist and kinesiologist, her mission is to put her patients back on their feet as soon as possible, so they can go back to enjoying physical activity. Based on posture and movement analysis, she uses injury prevention to educate her patients and to adjust their movements, not their activities. Her never-ending curiosity in sports allowed her to sharpen her abilities, having worked in volley-ball, yoga, karate, cycling and running (just to name a few). For any given WOD, she’ll make sure to watch your technique and to be as involved as you are in her exercises.
Background
Daphné Bilodeau earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology in 2013 and her master’s degree in physiotherapy in 2017, both at the University of Montreal. She then undertook a certification in injury prevention for runners at the Clinique du Coureur and another one for cyclists. She took training in manual therapy to reach her Levels 1 and 2 and then, more training in bike positioning to obtain her BikePT Bronze certification. So, she can evaluate either your posture at work or your biomechanics when running or cycling. As if that weren’t enough, she recently earned her diploma in Puncture Physiotherapy with Dry Needling (PPAS) for new treatment possibilities.
