about NXTG Academy

Our clinic’s expertise has grown significantly over the years, and we are excited to support the next generation of physiotherapists in enhancing their knowledge and skills in sports physiotherapy.
 
NXTG Academy offers students from the School of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at the University of Montreal (UdeM) the chance to participate in free seminars. These sessions are tailored to your field and level of study, designed to enrich your clinical skills and deepen your understanding of biomechanics.
 
You’ll be welcomed into a professional environment where you can ask questions, engage in insightful discussions, spark your curiosity, and uncover new passions within our diverse field of practice. 

Meet your Mentors

christophe lett

Pht M.Sc., SPC(d), PPAS
 Christophe Lett is co-owner of the St-Henri Clinic and specializes in sports physiotherapy, with a strong focus on athlete performance and rehabilitation. His diverse experience has led him to collaborate with organizations such as Hockey Canada, Hockey Québec, the University of Montreal Carabins men’s soccer team, FC Laval, the Valleyfield Braves (Junior AAA Hockey), the Amos Forestiers (Midget AAA Hockey), the Gadbois Gymnastics Club, and many more.
 
On the international stage, Christophe served as a physiotherapist at the 2009 ISBHF World Championship in the Czech Republic. He also had the honor of supporting Jeff Adler, crowned the fittest man on earth in 2023, during five editions of the CrossFit Games.
 
Thanks to a scholarship, Christophe worked at the National Institute of Sport (INS Québec), contributing to biomechanical and physiological analyses for Olympic teams. His certifications include Dry Needling (PPAS) and Sports Physiotherapy (SPC), and he continues to deepen his expertise to help athletes excel.
 
Passionate about sharing knowledge, Christophe is eager to pass on his expertise and support each athlete in reaching their full potential.

Dave  Desmeules-Doan

Dave Desmeules-Doan is a skilled physio and mentor known for his exceptional listening, clear communication, and commitment to helping others reach their physical goals. Outside of his practice, you can find him trail running, climbing, cycling, or skiing—activities that fuel his passion for endurance sports.
 
A graduate of the University of Montreal with a master’s in physiotherapy, Dave blends his love for life sciences with his experience in movement. He specializes in working with runners and climbing enthusiasts, both recreational and competitive, focusing on optimizing functional abilities for daily life and athletic pursuits.
 
His method includes posture and movement analysis, personalized exercise plans, manual therapy, and specialized techniques like dry needling 
 
Dave also has extensive experience with running, bike fitting, and climbing injury management, offering valuable mentorship for anyone looking to enhance their performance. Whether for prevention, treatment, or performance, Dave’s dynamic coaching helps clients unlock their full potential.

Dominic Baillargeon 

 
Pht M.Sc., FCAMPT, SPC(d), PPAS
President and Founder of Nxt Generation PHYSIO, nationally certified sports physiotherapist (Sport Physio Diploma), and a passionate advocate for performance both in sports and entrepreneurship, Dominic has an impressive track record of working with high-profile organizations and events. These include IRONMAN Tremblant, SPARTAN RACE CANADA, HOCKEY CANADA, and the CROSSFIT GAMES. He has also collaborated with numerous professional athletes at the national level and made his mark internationally through his work with the French Cycling Federation.
 
Over the years, Dominic has completed over 1,000 hours of post-graduate continuing education and earned his FCAMPT certification (Fellowship in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, Level 5). Ambitious and innovative, he challenges conventional practices, which has led him to develop his unique approach to injury prevention and performance optimization.
 
During these workshops, Dom shares his best tips. Over the past 13 years, he has developed a systematic approach that increases efficiency and delivers rapid results. His goal is to simplify the information and ensure the workshops are relevant and accessible to all participants.
