Civil engineer, mother of twin daughters, and exceptional trail runner, Geneviève Asselin-Demers embodies perseverance and the passion for pushing one’s limits. Since her competitive debut at 18 years old, she has excelled in rowing, cycling, and running before carving out a place among the top trail runners. Her breakthrough came in 2015, when she won the Montreal Marathon during her first season with the Les Aspirants running club. Since then, she has continued to deliver outstanding performances, both in Québec and on the international stage.
An Impressive Track Record
In 2023, Geneviève dominated the competition, securing first place in multiple prestigious races:
– QMT 110
– UTCC 40
– UTHC 125
– Grand-Duc 50K
– 100K Puerto Vallarta (Mexico)
She carried this momentum into 2024, competing in internationally renowned races and securing multiple top 10 finishes:
– BCU 100K (Phoenix) – 6th place
– MIUT 115K (Madeira) – 8th place
– Kodiak 100K – 6th place
– UTCT 100K (Cape Town, South Africa) – 7th place

2025: New Challenges Ahead
Geneviève is preparing to take on another exciting season, competing in elite races such as Desert Rats by UTMB™, TransVulcania La Palma, and the Swiss Canyon Trail. With ambition and determination, she continues to push her limits and aim even higher.
