Biography
Joséphine Gauvin is a passionate athlete and a true competitor at heart. A highly talented goaltender, she stands out not only for her work ethic on the ice but also for her radiant personality within her team. Always ready to make her teammates laugh in the locker room or during treatments, she knows exactly how to find the perfect balance between having fun and the seriousness required to continuously improve. For Joséphine, hockey is much more than a sport; it is a way of life where pushing one’s limits goes hand in hand with the joy of playing.
Background
Her love story with hockey began very early, when she was just 4 years old. After honing her skills and shining at the high school level with Collège Bourget, Joséphine made the leap to the collegiate ranks this year. She currently plays in the highly competitive RSEQ circuit (Women’s Collegiate D1 Hockey) with the Cégep André-Laurendeau team, the program with which she will continue her development in the coming seasons.

Ambition is certainly not lacking for the new NxtG ambassador. Collectively, her goal is clear: the ultimate objective of any team is to lift the cup, and she fully intends to help Cégep André-Laurendeau win a championship. Individually, Joséphine is aiming for the very top. She is determined to reach the highest possible level in the hockey world and to work relentlessly to surpass the exceptional statistics of her rookie season in the campaigns to come.
