BACKGROUND

If we had to define Bastien Hammond in one sentence, it would be “always on the move.” A flight attendant since 2013, Bastien flies planes on the American continent. When he’s not spending time in the air, his other passion is on Earth, running. Running a lot, even. During the pandemic period, Bastien also found himself locked up at home. This was an opportunity for him to take on a new challenge: to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest using the steps of his building. Now free to move around wherever he wants, Bastien Hammond is performing very well on the mega trails of North America.

ACHIEVEMENTS

2020

-Everesting dans les marches de son bloc appartement en 22 heures. Il est monté et descendu  2222 fois pour atteindre la hauteur du Mont Everest.

2021

-Première course organisé à vie: QMT100 (Québec Mega Trail) : 4ème place en 26:07
-Squamish 50 miles Finisher

2022

-Run Ridge Run 25km en Colombie Britannique (6ème)
-QMT100 : 3ème place en 22:26
-Javelina Jundred 100 miles le 29 Octobre à Pheonix, Arizona
