Biography

Emy Lefrançois is an athlete driven by endurance, performance, and self-improvement. Always drawn to challenges, she sees sport as a way to push both her physical and mental limits. Curious and determined, she enjoys inspiring others to step outside their comfort zones and try new experiences, both in sport and in everyday life. Despite being relatively new to triathlon, she quickly stood out through her rapid progression and strong commitment to the sport.

Background

Sport has been part of Emy’s life from a very young age. She started snowboarding at just 2 years old before pursuing a diverse athletic background that included basketball in a sports concentration program throughout high school and three years of rugby. She later developed a strong passion for strength training, which she has practiced for more than seven years. Searching for a new challenge that combined endurance, discipline, and personal growth, she discovered triathlon in August 2024. Even though she initially did not know how to swim, bike, or run, she quickly fell in love with the sport. After only one completed season, she already qualified for the 2026 Triathlon World Championships in Nice, highlighting both her determination and adaptability.

Next Challenges

Emy aims to continue progressing both physically and mentally through endurance sports. Her main objective is to keep preparing for the 2026 Triathlon World Championships in Nice while continuing to improve her swimming, cycling, and running abilities. Long term, she hopes to take on new athletic challenges and inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and discover the fulfillment that comes from pushing their own limits.
