Biography
Joey Savoie is a professional golfer from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Known for his consistency, discipline, and work ethic, he has established himself among the best Canadian golfers of his generation. A former member of the Canadian Amateur Team and the National Young Pro Team, as well as a player on the PGA Tour Americas, Joey has been pursuing a career focused on continuous improvement and top-tier performance for several years. Background
After a brilliant junior and amateur career, Joey continued his development in the United States at Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in accounting while competing in the NCAA. His performances then allowed him to join the Canadian Amateur Team and reach the 24th spot in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) in 2019. During this period, he competed in five US Amateur Championships, five British Amateur Championships, and three RBC Canadian Opens on the PGA Tour.
He turned professional in 2020. Despite the unique circumstances of the pandemic, he quickly secured status on a PGA Tour professional circuit, a status he has maintained ever since.
