Biography

At just 14 years old, Renaud Boivin has already established himself as an elite martial arts athlete, specializing in point fighting. Having started his practice at the age of 5, he has transformed an early passion into a rigorous pursuit of excellence in combat sports. Combining strength of character with versatility, Renaud does not limit himself to a single facet of fighting; he invests himself with the same intensity in continuous fighting and kickboxing, embodying a new generation of complete and disciplined competitors.

Background

Renaud’s journey is defined by a constant drive for self-improvement. To reach the highest standards of performance, he has integrated functional training and running into his daily routine for several years. A member of the FQEFS, his taste for challenge even leads him to explore CrossFit, as evidenced by his upcoming participation in the Powerdog competition. On the competitive scene, his consistency is remarkable: with more than twenty annual tournaments under his belt—ranging from local to international levels—he has become a mainstay on the podiums. His talent and determination earned him a spot on the prestigious No Limits International competition team.

Next Challenges

Renaud’s horizon is marked by high-level technical and competitive goals. He is currently working toward earning his black belt in Kenpo Karate, a major symbolic milestone in his development. At the same time, he is training intensively for the Quebec Open and the WKC National Championships, with the ultimate ambition of qualifying for the 2026 World Championships. Always eager to expand his arsenal, Renaud has recently begun training in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, laying the groundwork for his future transition into Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
