Yannick Bisson

Professional skydiver

Biography

A professional skydiver and endurance sports enthusiast, Yannick Bisson embodies the new generation of versatile athletes who constantly push the boundaries of performance. Currently a Civil Engineering student at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, he balances academic rigor with ambitious athletic projects that take him around the globe. For Yannick, sport is much more than a discipline; it is a catalyst for self-transcendence and a means of expression where determination and audacity meet to turn every challenge into an international success.

Background

Yannick’s journey is that of an aerial prodigy whose evolution began at the age of six in indoor skydiving. A multi-disciplinary athlete, he forged his mental and physical resilience through competitive hockey and alpine skiing in student-athlete programs before dedicating himself fully to high-level skydiving. Quickly recruited by an elite junior team in Toronto, he made his mark by winning prestigious world titles in Bahrain and Poland. Now a member of the Canadian national team, an instructor, and a camera flyer with nearly 3,000 jumps to his credit, he also excels on the ground through his endurance in sports. From Ironman 70.3 triathlons to trail running, Yannick transposes the precision of the sky to the demands of long-distance trails.
