Bio

Originally from Spain, Elena Suárez is a versatile circus artist, dancer, and actress with a background in TV and film. She began dancing and acting at just three years old, performing on television and film, before fully immersing herself in the world of ballet en pointe. Trained in Madrid, she later refined her technique at world-renowned studios such as Millennium Dance Complex and Broadway Dance Center.

A highly accomplished dancer, Elena has received numerous awards and international scholarships for ballet training, including Youth America Grand Prix in New York and prestigious programs at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia and the Central School of Ballet in London. Despite facing a torn knee ligament injury and two surgeries, she made a remarkable comeback, proving her resilience and passion for performance.

From Ballet to Circus: A Daring Evolution

In 2016, Elena joined Cirque du Soleil, becoming the original ballerina of VOLTA, touring across Canada and the U.S.. She later transitioned from dancer to aerialist, falling in love with hair hanging, a discipline that allowed her to bring her dance to new heights—literally.

Career Highlights

– 2021: Starred as a solo hair hanging artist on the Las Vegas Strip for two years.

– 2022: Featured in an award-winning short film for League of Legends, filmed at Warner Bros. London, as the only aerialist.

– 2023: Performed at the Sydney Opera House with Circus 1903 as a solo circus artist and dancer.

– 2024: Collaborated with Ballet Red in Los Angeles and performed with the renowned cabaret-dinner show Lío Ibiza in Spain.

– Worked with Cirque du Soleil on multiple projects, including a show in India and a Christmas tour across the U.S.

2025: A Year of New Challenges & Creations

Currently, Elena is in rehearsals for an exciting new show premiering soon in Montreal, where she will perform as both a dancer and aerialist specializing in hair hanging. Dedicated to pushing artistic boundaries, she continues to blend dance, circus, and storytelling in innovative and captivating ways.
