Étienne Lajeunesse
Massothérapeute, Coach
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Will Durant
His superpowers
For Etienne, quality is paramount in everything he undertakes. He has high standards for himself, so he never does things halfway. He is very attentive to people’s needs and is always there to help to the best of his abilities. He works instinctively, so if something “doesn’t feel right,” he looks for other solutions.
His passions
Martial arts were Étienne’s very first passion. He has been immersed in this world from a young age, particularly with ITF Taekwon-Do. He competed at the world level and taught in his own club. Today, in his spare time, he loves being active outdoors, especially with his children, who are his main source of motivation to keep pushing himself.
His approach
Étienne focuses on improving movement and mobility. His goal is to restore high-quality passive and active movement to affected joints. A body that moves well and absorbs the physical shocks of sports is less likely to get injured or develop long-term limitations. With this approach, he aims to optimize motor learning and performance.
His background
Coming from the world of martial arts, Étienne has developed a passion for flexibility and physical training over the years. His goals were to optimize his performance and support his community, which led him to train as a coach. At the gym, he worked with athletes looking to improve their performance as well as clients concerned with managing their injuries. For the next phase of his career, he has chosen to focus on massage therapy, emphasizing manual therapy.
