Juliette Carrier

Physiotherapist

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhi

Her superpowers

Juliette possesses great active listening skills and remarkable sensitivity toward the people she treats. The versatility of this physiotherapist allows her to care for a clientele ranging from infants to the elderly, adapting perfectly to each stage of life and reality. Very sociable and endowed with an immense capacity for adaptation, our therapist knows how to quickly put people at ease, allowing them to open up easily and without any judgment.

Her passions

In her free time, she loves listening to music. Juliette particularly enjoys putting a vinyl on the record player or attending concerts, savoring that unique feeling of singing every word with a crowd that shares the same passion. Her artistic side is expressed through crochet, where this creator specifically makes stuffed animals. Reading also allows her to immerse herself in fascinating universes, not to mention outings with friends and precious time spent with family.

Her approach

Our professional places a major importance on teamwork with the patient. Her approach is resolutely centered on the person and their family, with goals always established jointly. For this therapist, it is essential that the patient fully understands their treatment plan as well as their condition, as she sees the individual as a whole and not just through their diagnosis. Her treatments integrate both active techniques (exercises, motor control, autonomy) and passive ones (manual therapy), with a carefully adapted dosage. Finally, she focuses heavily on prevention, long-term autonomy, mechanical stress quantification (MSQ), and patient education.

Her background

Juliette completed her physiotherapy studies at the Université de Montréal. During her academic journey, our expert completed highly varied internships, ranging from amputee clientele to sports musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Notably, she completed a two-month internship in neurodevelopment (torticollis and plagiocephaly) at the outpatient clinic of the CHU Sainte-Justine, where she also received a mention of excellence.
