Sabrina Thayer-Head

Bouldering Athlete

Biography

Sabrina Thayer-Head has been climbing for nearly ten years. She discovered competition in 2018 across all three disciplines (bouldering, lead, and speed) and quickly became deeply passionate about it. She now specializes in bouldering and trains full time with the Rose Bloc team, while also working for her sport federation, the FQME.

Background

A dedicated and disciplined athlete, Sabrina stands out for her physical strength and strong work ethic. Over the past few years, she has expanded her skill set by developing greater mobility, resilience, and the ability to perform confidently across a wider range of climbing styles. After experiencing an elbow dislocation in 2019 and a severe high ankle sprain in 2022, Sabrina has become acutely aware of the physical demands of her sport. As a result, she places a strong emphasis on injury prevention and works regularly with the Nxt Generation PHYSIO team to reduce the risk of overuse injuries, including through massage therapy.
