Bastien
Hammond
Runner
BIO
If you had to describe Bastien Hammond in one sentence, it would be: “always on the move.” A flight crew member since 2013, Bastien pilots planes across the Americas. When he’s not in the air, his other passion keeps him grounded—running. A lot of running.
During the pandemic, like many others, Bastien found himself stuck at home. That’s when he decided to take on a new challenge: climbing the equivalent of Mount Everest using the stairs in his apartment building. Now free to move around as he pleases, Bastien is performing impressively in ultra-trail races across North America.
